Honorable Sujata Koirala is a former Deputy Prime Minister & former Foreign Minister of the Government of Nepal. She is also a Central Working Committee Member of Nepali Congress and Member of Parliament of Nepal.
President of GPK Foundation America Somnath Ghimire, Honorary Member Md. Rashid PhD., Treasurer Brinda Rai, Central Member Ms. Dawa Sherpa, Queens Community Board-5’s Member Gyanal Thapa, Queens County Democratic Party Member Sheryl Fetik, Nepal Tarun Dal Leader Hemanth Bom Malla and Laxman Thapaliya were present to welcome our Chairperson.Honorable Sujata Koirala briefed about her visit in Washington DC. She was invited in the Historic International Conference of ICAPP( http://www.theicapp.org/ ) held from November 12-14, 2019. Hon. Koirala also talked about the goals of Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation, promoting the ideals Girija Babu stood for and contribute further to institutionalize peace, democracy and development in Nepal and remember him as one of the great political leaders of Asia who always worked for peace, democracy and friendly relations among the countries of this region and the world. Foundation has already established its Working Committee in more than 18 Countries, and also in the Seven Provinces & the 77 Districts of Nepal.
